Why Irkutsk Free Tour?

Usually, people don’t have much time when they travel. Everything is tight and depends on the schedule of arrivals and departures. That’s why it is important to have a guide to travel around the location, so that traveler will have a better image. Walking with English speaking local guide is a great chance to learn a lot and chat about subjects of interest.

Where does the tour start and end?

Meeting and starting at the monument to Vladimir Lenin, in the very center of the city. All the hostels and hostels are around this location in a 10-20 minutes walking distance. The tour ends at the same spot.

Is there a min/max for the group?

There is no minimum, but the tour must be confirmed by Irkutsk Free Tour manager by e-mail. This tour does not happen automatically on an everyday basis. Maximum group size is 16 people.

Is the tour really free?

Travelers who take our tour will get the product of high quality and may give their own price for it. This model provides a great motivation factor for the guides who try their best with their knowledge and culture level.

What if it rains?

The rain is not a problem, it never rains too hard in Irkutsk. So just take an umbrella or raincoat.

What if I get hungry?

Along the way there are many cafes and restaurants as well as shops with all kinds of Siberian treats.
