100 km along the West Shore of Lake Baikal by train with lake view all the time. The oldest part of the former Circum-Baikal Railroad with numerous tunnels and stone bridges across beautiful river valleys. Stay one night in a tiny and quiet Baikal settlement at the end of the railroad tracks.

Use small ferry ship to get across Angara river the next morning and spend a day in Listvyanka, before the road back to Irkutsk.
